ChiliChecker is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and trustworthy platform for all users. This Moderation Policy explains how we review, moderate, and manage user-generated content on our platform.

Our moderation practices are designed to balance free expression with user safety, ensuring that reviews and discussions remain helpful and appropriate while protecting users from harmful content.

Content We Moderate

We moderate all user-generated content on ChiliChecker, including:

  • Reviews: Written reviews and ratings of content creators
  • Profile Information: User profile content and display names
  • Creator Submissions: Information submitted about creators
  • Images: Profile pictures and any uploaded images
  • Reports: User reports about other content or users

How We Moderate Content

Automated Moderation

We use automated systems to help identify potentially problematic content before it is published:

  • Content moderation to identify potentially harmful content
  • Pattern recognition to flag content for review
  • Rate limiting to prevent abuse

Note: Automated systems may occasionally flag legitimate content. Such content is always reviewed by a human moderator before final action is taken.

Human Review

Human moderators review content in the following circumstances:

  • Content flagged by automated systems
  • Content reported by users
  • Appeals of moderation decisions
  • Periodic quality audits
  • High-priority reports (illegal content)

User Reporting

Users can report content that they believe violates our policies. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, with priority given to reports of illegal content. See our Reporting & Complaints page for details.

Content Standards

What We Allow

  • Honest reviews based on personal experience with creators
  • Constructive criticism and feedback
  • Discussion of adult content in appropriate context
  • Factual information about creator pricing and content
  • Genuine questions and community discussions

What We Prohibit

Strictly Prohibited Content

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualisation of minors
  • Terrorism content or promotion of terrorist organisations
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Content that facilitates human trafficking
  • Content promoting self-harm or suicide

Additionally, the following content is not permitted:

  • Harassment: Targeted abuse, threats, or intimidation of individuals
  • Hate speech: Content attacking people based on protected characteristics
  • Doxxing: Sharing private personal information without consent
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else to deceive users
  • Spam: Repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content
  • False information: Deliberately misleading reviews or claims
  • Defamation: False statements that damage reputation
  • Copyright infringement: Using others' content without permission
  • Fraud: Scams or attempts to defraud users

Moderation Actions

When content violates our policies, we may take the following actions:

Warning

For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning and request content modification.

Removal

Content that violates our policies will be removed from the platform.

Suspension

Repeated violations or serious breaches may result in temporary account suspension.

Ban

Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.

Response Times

We aim to respond to reported content within the following timeframes:

Illegal content (CSAM, terrorism) 24-48 hours
Harassment or threats 5 working days
General policy violations 5 working days
Appeals 5 working days

Appeals Process

If you believe your content was removed in error, you have the right to appeal our decision:

  1. Contact us within 14 days of the moderation action
  2. Explain why you believe the decision was incorrect
  3. Provide any relevant context or evidence
  4. A different moderator will review your appeal
  5. You will receive a response within 5 working days
